Overview
Geography
It borders Lofa and Gbarpolu Counties to the north, Montserrado and Margibi to the west, Grand Bassa to the south, and Nimba to the east.
The northeastern part of the county touches the Guinea border. A primary paved road runs through Bong, linking Monrovia to Nimba via Gbarnga.
Demographics & Ethnic Groups
Major ethnic groups in Bong include the Kpelle, Mandingo (largely Muslim), and the Mano.
The county has a mix of rural and urban communities, with subsistence agriculture being common.
